Ohio Diving League (ODL)

The Ohio Diving League (ODL) was designed as a way for developing divers to participate in skill-based competition as opposed to age group competition.  The more relaxed setting allows new divers to ease into the competitive aspect of diving at their own pace.

Divers will compete based on their skill level (determined by a coach).  Level requirements can be found on the ODL Dive Sheet on the "forms" page of the ohiodivingleague.org web site

*You must be current with your AAU youth membership in order to dive.  Use Club Code: WW7WYE

How to sign up for an ODL Meet and what to know & expect:

  • For developmental & Intermediate divers, go to the "shop" page, then "shopping cart" then click on the "store" tab & chose the meet you are attending. You can also just tell the coach if it is last minute. Cash & checks are accepted (made to AFD).
  • If you are a Developmental or Intermediate diver, the cost for attending an ODL meet is $30 (1 or both boards)
  • Future Flyers, Pre-Travel & Travel Team divers:  ODL meet fees are included in the membership fee.
  • The meet timeline is usually posted on the ohiodivingleague.org site on Friday evenings.
  • These meets tend to run most of the day so please bring things to do for siblings, extra towels & a warm change of clothes.
  • It is advised to bring snacks & drinks but sometimes concessions will be available.
  • There will be warm up time for each event for divers to go through their dive lists.
  • MAKE SURE YOU ARE AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EARLY - it's better to be early than miss an event or an event warm up!
