Thinking about joining AFD?

As a coaching staff...

We will always care about all of our athletes as people first, divers second. Diving will always be something our athletes do, it will not be who they are. We will work with our athletes to help them set their own goals and offer insight and guidance to make those goals appropriate, based on skill and commitment level. We are focused on how far your athlete can go in diving, not how fast they can get there.

1. Anyone can signup to dive with AFD so long as you can swim on your own and follow directions. There is no age minimum.
2. All new divers will start in the LEARN TO DIVE program. Divers who come to the team with some experience may be placed in different training groups after some evaluation.
3. All new to AFD divers get 2 free practices before we ask for any commitment or registration. Please coordinate with the coaching staff the days and times you'd like for your diver to come 'try out' diving with AFD.
4. All AFD divers need to complete the appropriate year's Team Registration before signing up for any training group. You are not able to signup for practices until you are officially signed up and a member of AFD.

7. Once you have completed this step, you will get a confirmation email with links to your eligible training groups. Before you sign up for your training group, please make sure that you complete step 5 below.
8. All AFD divers need to have active AAU Diving & USA Diving memberships before completing any sessions registration. These memberships are not required for your two free "tryout" practices.

10. Once you have your AAU & USA Diving Memberships, you can register for your training group by visiting the group on the PROGRAMS tab above, or by following the links in your team membership confirmation email.
