Ohio Diving League

Divers compete in ODL events based on skill set, not age. Of the 6 levels, each level has different skills required. Level 1 is the most basic with Level 6 being the most advanced.

Divers may compete different levels on 1mt, 3mt, & tower, when available.

*Occasionally there will be a Level 7 event - this is typically only for divers that need to get a qualifying score in an event to qualify for a national meet or something similar.

Most Ohio Diving League (ODL) meets are on Sunday, with 11:00am warmups and the first events starting at 12:00pm.

1 METER

*Levels 1-3 are non competitive with all DD @ 1.0*

Level 1; four skills: 100, 200, 001, 5100 (front jump, back jump, front line-up, front jump 1/2 twist)

Level 2; four dives/skills: 101A/B/C and any three skills or dives

Level 3; five dives: any 3 dives from 101, 201, 301, 401 and any 2 dives from different categories

Level 4; five dives: 2 voluntary dives, 101, 201, 301, or 401 and any 3 dives from different groups with at least 4 categories represented

Level 5; six dives: 2 dives from different categories with combined DD 3.6 or lower and 4 dives from different categories with all five categories represented across the 6 dives

Level 6; six dives: selected required dive of the meet with max DD 1.8 and 5 dives, 1 from each category with combined minimum DD 10.0

3 METER

Download an ODL dive sheet for your diver to fill out with their coaches. You will need to enter their dive lists on cleanentires.com. This dive sheet is just for them to reference when they make their competition lists with the coaches. They will need 1 sheet for each event, 1mt and 3mt.
